Knives is the fourth studio album released by post-hardcore band Aiden. The album is a return to Aiden's horror punk style, after the alternative rock style of the album Conviction. The album was released on May 11, 2009 in the UK and May 12, 2009 in the United States through Victory Records.[7] The band has described this album as, "raw, it's fast, it's pissed."[7] It was recorded and produced by WiL at his own studio, Sleepy Hollow, in Seattle. [8]

On April 1, 2009, "Scavengers of the Damned" was announced as the first single from the album [9] and was made available to buy on iTunes as well as uploaded to the band's MySpace page. In December, the second single "Let The Right One In" was confirmed. "Scavengers of the Damned" was added to the Rock Band Network on March 20th 2010.
